• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; 35 hours per week

ROLE IMPACT
The HR & Benefits Specialist is a key resource for benefit administration, employee engagement, and HR compliance. This role supports the organization by ensuring benefit programs are accurately managed, documentation is timely and precise, and HR-related inquiries are addressed with care and consistency. Your work drives clarity, satisfaction, and confidence across the employee experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate annual benefits enrollment and collaborate with brokers on plan changes
• Facilitate benefits orientation for new hires, manage COBRA administration, and update coverage
• Reconcile monthly insurance billing and ensure timely invoice processing
• Administer the 401k plan, compliance notices, and year-end audits
• Manage FMLA and leave requests, maintaining documentation and supporting managers
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations, including coaching and documentation
• Support leadership development, wellness programs, and employee engagement initiatives
• Oversee offboarding processes, including exit interviews and property return
• Respond to unemployment claims and general HR queries
• Generate HR reports including turnover trends and survey analytics
• Participate in SHRM and DallasHR events as budget permits
• Perform other related HR duties as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years experience in HR and benefits enrollment
• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong math aptitude and meticulous attention to detail
• Proven accuracy in data management and reporting
• Demonstrated appreciation for the arts or engagement in a creative hobby
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP)
• Paylocity (preferred)
• Understanding of self-funded benefits plans (preferred)
