Compensation & Schedule
• $17.31/hour starting pay
• +$0.82/hour upon Tech In Training status
• +$0.82/hour upon Pharmacy Technician License
• Monday 6:00 AM–4:30 PM; Tuesday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
• Mandatory Overtime
As an Inventory Assistant, you ensure timely and accurate receipt, handling, and storage of pharmaceutical inventory to safeguard patient health and streamline pharmacy operations. Your attention to detail and efficiency support the pharmacy’s ability to deliver safe, accurate, and prompt service.
KEY DUTIES
• Verify, receive, and sort incoming inventory using handheld scanner and manual input
• Reconcile product against purchase orders; identify mis-picks, shortages, or overages
• Perform cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory
• Rotate stock using FIFO; manage expired and short-dated items
• Support inventory logistics including returns, recalls, and discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with DSCSA, HIPAA, and safety standards
• Assist in packing, shipping, replenishment, and pharmacy technician support
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic math and computer proficiency; RF scanner knowledge preferred
• Willingness to obtain Pharmacy Tech in Training license
• Prior inventory or warehouse experience
• Experience using pallet jacks or similar tools
• Capable of repetitive physical tasks (lifting, standing, bending)
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Office and warehouse settings with routine physical demands
• Regular lifting of 20–25 lbs; extended periods of walking/standing
• Use of pallet jacks, dollies, box cutters, and step ladders
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare inventory systems
