Customer Service Representative
Location: Louisville, KY | Hybrid
Compensation & Schedule
• $17.00/hr
• Monday–Friday, 8am–8pm (schedule TBD)
• W2
• Start date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
As a key contact point within the pharmacy’s communications network, this role facilitates timely and accurate medication support for patients and providers. Representatives ensure compliance with procedural and regulatory standards while driving successful call resolution and positive service outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage inbound and outbound calls from patients, caregivers, and providers
• Provide accurate and courteous responses regarding prescription and pharmacy services
• Process medication refills and coordinate shipment schedules
• Troubleshoot and resolve service issues, documenting call outcomes
• Uphold HIPAA and internal compliance guidelines across all tasks
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Call center experience, preferably in healthcare or pharmacy
• Pharmacy Board Technician Registration required within 30 days of employment (contractor expense)
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM; strong verbal and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Microsoft Office Suite
• CRM and call handling platforms
• Typing and data entry interfaces
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience in pharmacy benefits or healthcare call centers
• Understanding of prescription refill logistics
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and pharmacy regulatory protocols
