• Monday–Saturday, hours vary 7:30 AM–6:00 PM

ROLE IMPACT
Join a community-driven team improving health outcomes for women, infants, and children through the WIC program. This position delivers culturally responsive care, nutritional assessments, and education—empowering families to make informed choices and establish lifelong wellness habits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct nutritional assessments to determine WIC eligibility using clinical and dietary data
• Deliver personalized counseling, care plans, and support for high-risk nutrition concerns
• Lead individual and group education sessions to promote healthy behaviors
• Refer participants to medical and social services, collaborating on holistic care
• Maintain documentation including growth charts, dietary recalls, and weight grids
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
• Must be bilingual in Spanish
CLINICAL SKILL SET
• Nutritional risk screening and growth chart interpretation
• High-risk dietary assessment and prenatal/pediatric nutrition planning
• Breastfeeding education and WIC food package customization
• Health coaching, community referral coordination, and material development
PREFERRED SKILLS
• 2+ years’ experience in nutrition counseling or dietetics
• Familiarity with WIC and related social health programs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
