Airport Noise Analyst


Location Dallas, TX | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule
• $25/hour
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Start date: ASAP

ROLE IMPACT
This role ensures effective operation of the System's Voluntary Noise Program by monitoring aircraft noise levels, addressing community concerns, and educating stakeholders. Success is measured by responsiveness to complaints, accuracy of reporting, and the ability to foster cooperative relationships with airport tenants and the public.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor aircraft noise and flight operations using the Noise and Operations Monitoring System (NOMS)
• Analyze data and prepare detailed noise reports for internal and external use
• Investigate noise complaints and provide timely, accurate responses
• Conduct public outreach and educational sessions for airport tenants and community groups
• Collaborate with various departments to align with city policies and operational procedures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years experience in the aviation sector working with airlines, neighborhood groups, or customers
• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, airfield management, or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across diverse groups

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Noise and Operations Monitoring System (NOMS)
• Microsoft Office Suite
• City data systems and reporting tools

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience managing or supporting airport community relations programs
• Familiarity with local government operations and municipal procedures
• Public speaking or outreach experience
