Customer Service Representative
Location Cary, NC | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $20.40/hr
• Tuesday - Saturday | 11:30am–8:00pm EST

ROLE IMPACT: As a Customer Service Representative supporting pharmacy operations, you'll serve as a key liaison for patients, clinicians, and internal teams. You’ll ensure high-quality customer service by managing inbound and outbound communications, supporting medication delivery coordination, and contributing to accurate documentation across systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage inbound/outbound calls to schedule medication refills and deliveries
• Update medical claims and patient records for referral tracking
• Answer inquiries related to prescription status, financials, and insurance
• Escalate clinical questions to pharmacists or nurses as needed
• Identify and report adverse events or product complaints

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
• 1+ year customer service / call center experience (non-retail)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and management information systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Pharmacy management systems
• Medical claims platforms
• Call center/customer service software

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Familiarity with pharmacy operations and medical terminology
• Experience processing medical claims
• Prior work in a medical office or healthcare support role
