Claims Research Specialist
Location: Bedford, TX | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule
• $20/hour
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• W2
• Start date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
This role supports a high-volume insurance processing team by ensuring timely and accurate handling of vehicle title claims. Success in this role hinges on precise documentation, proactive problem-solving with state DMV offices, and collaborative support across internal departments including Loss Mitigation and Impound Management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare, file, and mail vehicle title paperwork to auctions and customers
• Conduct DMV research to secure required title documentation
• Enter and maintain records in two internal data systems
• Coordinate with impound vendors to arrange vehicle retrievals
• Apply critical thinking to manage large caseloads with time-sensitive actions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1+ year experience in insurance or auto claims processing - NO MEDICAL
• Prior work with car titles or title clerking
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
• Required: Loss Mitigation experience
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• DMV platforms
• Claims management systems
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Internal case tracking tools
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience handling vehicle impounds
• Familiarity with auction processes
• Bilingual English/Spanish
