Job Title: Night Dispatch
Schedule: 4pm to Midnight or Midnight to 8am - Nights and Weekends
Pay: $20.00
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Description: Administrative type work—night dispatch, maintenance calls, etc.
Dispatching & Coordination: Assign jobs and routes to drivers/technicians/personnel based on priority, availability, and location. Ensure timely updates and job completion.
Emergency Response: Act as the first point of contact for after-hours calls, emergencies, or escalations. Coordinate rapid responses and document incidents thoroughly.
Monitoring & Reporting: Track vehicle movement, job status, and performance metrics via dispatch software and GPS systems. Log activity and submit reports for morning handoff.
Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with field staff, clients, and supervisors throughout the shift via phone, radio, and messaging systems.
Problem Solving: Resolve scheduling conflicts, reroute services as needed, and proactively address issues like delays, accidents, or client concerns.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of the transportation and trucking industry - Minimum of 1 year experience
Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Outlook, and Excel
