ROLE IMPACT
As a member of the Insurance Total Loss team within the Collections Department, you will play a vital role in supporting customers and insurance representatives through timely and accurate claim processing. This position ensures sensitive account circumstances - such as total loss claims, Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), and deceased customer accounts - are handled efficiently and professionally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage insurance-related queues, emails, phone calls, and physical mail to resolve claims
• Collaborate with insurance agents and vendors to intake, monitor, and finalize total loss claims
• Research customer accounts to verify claim eligibility and compliance with SCRA and deceased account procedures
• Maintain clear, concise records and documentation across all applicable systems
• Support both customers and external vendors with questions and claim updates via portal, phone, and email
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1+ year(s) collections experience REQUIRED
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a high-volume environment
• Strong administrative and documentation skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to navigate multiple systems while actively handling phone communications
