ROLE IMPACT
As a Billing and Collection Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our Collections Invoicing Team through accurate, compliant handling of vendor inquiries and financial documentation. Your attention to detail and timely response will help ensure smooth operations, adherence to legal standards, and positive outcomes across billing cycles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Respond to vendor and internal partner inquiries with timely, accurate billing and collections information
• Support invoicing workflows, order tracking, and report generation
• Ensure compliance with state-specific billing and collection regulations
• Maintain organized email correspondence and documentation
• Collaborate with teammates to adapt to evolving process requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years of billing, collections, or accounts receivable experience in the auto finance industry
• Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and multitask in a team setting
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 10 lbs throughout the workday
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Microsoft Outlook
• Excel (basic reporting/tracking)
• Internal invoicing and ordering systems
• Email ticketing platforms
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience with compliance-driven collections processes
• Familiarity with state-specific billing regulations
• Prior experience in a shared services or vendor support environment
