Compensation & Schedule
• $23+ per hour, based on experience
• 8-hour shifts starting between 7–8 AM any
• W2 Contract

ROLE IMPACT
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely application of healthcare payments. Your expertise will directly support the financial integrity of the revenue cycle, helping to resolve payment discrepancies and maintain compliance with payer requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Post healthcare payments manually and electronically, including EOBs, EFTs, ERAs, and 835s
• Allocate lump sum and batch payments across multiple accounts and dates of service
• Research and resolve variances, denials, and unapplied payments
• Interpret payer rules and contractual adjustments for Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Workers' Comp
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve SOPs and payment workflows

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare payment posting
• Proficient in interpreting payer documentation and understanding proration logic
• Prior experience reconciling unapplied payments and resolving complex denials
• Familiarity with Interactant (HCS), WellSky, or equivalent EMR systems

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Background in rehab, home health, or residential care
• Exposure to payer audits or recoupments
• Basic understanding of contract modeling or reimbursement analytics
