Patient Support Representative
Location Hybrid | Louisville, KY
Compensation & Schedule
• $17.00/hr
• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• W2
• Start date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
This hybrid position supports patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers by handling inbound and outbound calls related to pharmacy support. Success in this role is defined by delivering accurate, empathetic service while adhering to procedures and maintaining compliance with pharmacy board registration timelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage incoming and outgoing calls to address refill requests, shipment scheduling, and patient/provider needs
• Ensure a seamless customer experience with clear, accurate information and solutions
• Follow up on inquiries and communicate next steps effectively
• Operate within established company policies and quality standards
• Support flexible scheduling needs, including potential shift adjustments
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Call center experience preferred
• Background in healthcare or pharmacy operations desired
• Able to type at least 35 WPM
• Must obtain Pharmacy Board Technician Registration within 30 days of hire
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Telephony and CRM platforms (unspecified)
• Standard EHR/EMR systems (if applicable to training)
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Strong verbal communication and active listening
• Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving
• Ability to manage high call volumes with professionalism
