Senior Buyer
Location: Irving, TX 75039 | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $22–24/hour
• Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• W2 | Temp to Hire
ROLE IMPACT
As a Senior Buyer, you will directly support 24/7 patient care by securing critical medical and administrative supplies. Your expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier management will ensure procurement continuity during emergencies and operational surges. This role is vital to maintaining uninterrupted healthcare services across the client’s regional footprint.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execute timely procurement and maintain open purchase orders
• Ensure contract compliance and resolve vendor disputes
• Track supply chain KPIs; update MMIS and ERP data systems
• Source and negotiate vendor terms for cost-effective, quality goods
• Respond to urgent procurement needs, including after-hours and weekends
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 4+ years of supply chain experience, including 1–2 years in healthcare purchasing
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Availability for holiday, weekend, and emergency support
• Good job stability (a minimum of 1 year at all previous roles)
• Must live within a 30 mile radius of Irving, TX 75039

• MMIS (Materials Management Information System)
• ERP Purchasing Platforms
• Microsoft Excel & reporting dashboards
• Communication tools (internal/external)
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience in healthcare supply chain or logistics
• Familiarity with 24/7 facility operations
• Knowledge of cost reduction and vendor diversification strategies
