Job Title: Medical Benefit and Insurance Verification

Location: WORK FROM HOME- FULLY REMOTE - EQUIPMENT PROVIDED
Applicant must reside in Texas, Arizona, North Carolina or Indiana to be considered for this role

Length of Role: Starts September 6th and open ended temp, based on the needs of the business candidates can be considered for full-time

Pay: $18-21/hr.

Schedule: 8am to 8pm EST
Typically Monday to Friday position, but candidate must be flexible to work Saturday's if needed

Job Description:
This is a phone based role dealing with inbound and outbound calls. The Verification Specialist is a remote seasonal position responsible for utilizing data from the internal system to complete a medical benefit investigation. This process involves calling on specific payers and/or patients to obtain the necessary missing data to finalize the benefit verification.

Duties and Responsibilities
Collects and reviews all patient insurance benefit information from the payer, to the degree authorized by the SOP of the program.
Provides exceptional customer service to all internal team members; resolves any requests in a timely and accurate manner; escalates issues accordingly.
Maintains frequent phone contact with assigned payers.
Reports any trends/delays to supervisor.
Communicates effectively to ensure accurate and timely benefit investigations.
Analysis of data and using good judgment to review data.
Ability to work remotely; typically receives little instruction on day-to-day work.

The ideal candidate will have the following profile:
2 years of experience in a customer service - oriented role that requires attention to detail and basic computer skills
General knowledge of medical/pharmacy insurance is a huge plus
High School Diploma or GED
