Location: Multiple Dallas Area Campuses – Dallas, TX (Onsite)
Start Date: August 12th

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $15.14/hr (W2)

• Shift Flexibility: You must be flexible to work a 7 hour shift between 5:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday

Role Overview

As a Food Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting daily cafeteria operations across select schools. Your contributions ensure that students receive safe, nutritious meals on time while maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming food service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute student meals in accordance with established menus and nutrition guidelines

• Serve food and manage cafeteria line flow during peak meal times

• Receive and stock food deliveries, ensuring inventory is properly rotated and stored

• Sanitize all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards

• Support additional kitchen duties and assist team members as directed by the supervisor

Minimum Requirements

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety practices

• Ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions in English

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs independently and up to 50 lbs with assistance

• Valid Texas Food Handler Certificate required by start date

Tools & Equipment Used

• Food service equipment: ovens, warmers, coolers, etc.

• Commercial cleaning products and sanitation procedures

• Food inventory systems and safe storage practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent previous experience in food service

• Strong teamwork, communication, and service skills
