Compensation & Schedule
• $17.50/hr
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday
• W2, Temp-to-Hire (3–6 month contract to FTE)
• Start Date: ASAP

ROLE IMPACT
As a Contact Center Specialist, you are the front-line voice for patients and families, ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact to appointment scheduling. Your role supports healthcare access and operational efficiency through timely registration, accurate information capture, and exceptional service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Respond to inbound calls and electronic requests with professionalism and empathy
• Register new patients, verify insurance, and enter data into EMR systems
• Schedule healthcare appointments and communicate preparation instructions
• Relay patient-related messages to clinical and administrative staff
• Calm upset callers and escalate priority issues when necessary

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1+ year experience in customer service or call center role
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in computer navigation and typing
• Experience handling fast-paced or high-volume calls

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Call center telephony platforms
• Standard office software (MS Office Suite or equivalent)

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Healthcare or patient access background
• Completion of PSS or CCS training program
