Customer Service Rep in Downtown Dallas
Location Dallas, TX | Hybrid (Onsite first 2 weeks, then Remote)
Compensation & Schedule
• $17.50/hr
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• W2, Temp-to-Hire (3–6 month contract with full-time potential)
ROLE IMPACT
This role supports a major hospital in downtown Dallas by helping callers get the assistance they need quickly and accurately. You’ll answer calls, schedule appointments, and make sure each patient has the right info before their visit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Answer incoming calls from patients and families to schedule doctor visits and tests
• Register new patients in the system and update records accurately
• Confirm insurance or explain self-pay costs and payment info
• Help callers with questions, send messages to medical staff, and handle urgent situations calmly
• Follow up on missing info and ensure appointments are booked correctly
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year of call center experience required
• Strong typing and computer skills
• Good communication and problem-solving ability
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Patient scheduling platforms
• Electronic medical records
• Basic Microsoft Office
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terms
• Stable work history (please note if prior roles were contract-based)
