• Schedule varies by shift (1st/2nd)4:45 am -3:30 pm or 3:45 PM -2:30 am; overtime, weekends, and holidays required seasonally

ROLE IMPACT
The Quality Lead ensures execution of the Quality Management System to maintain compliance and performance across warehouse operations. This role drives in-house audits, trains auditing personnel, and partners with shipping leadership to proactively resolve issues. Success is measured by audit accuracy, team readiness, and issue resolution efficiency.

KEY DUTIES
• Lead internal quality audits and document findings per standard operating procedures
• Train new quality auditors and maintain ongoing proficiency within the team
• Allocate audit resources in proportion to shipping volume across operational zones
• Collaborate with Shipping Supervisors to resolve discrepancies or quality issues
• Assist with shipping functions and provide hands-on support when audit needs are met

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience at SMP warehouse or equivalent environment
• 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs with frequent walking, standing, and occasional bending/stooping

EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Microsoft Excel, Word, Access Database, and RF scanning systems
• Use of warehouse systems for audits and reporting
• Must tolerate warehouse temperatures with exposure to dust, noise, and moving vehicles
• Shift flexibility required: ability to work both 1st and 2nd shift on rotation

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Data query and analysis for operational decisions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive leadership and independent decision-making
