Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
ROLE IMPACT
As a Lending Specialist, you will take full ownership of the client lending consultation process, from financial prequalification through funding strategy execution. This is a results-driven role for someone who thrives on precision, accountability, and proactive client communication. You’ll work directly with high-potential entrepreneurs to assess eligibility, deliver insight-backed lending recommendations, and structure strategic funding plans that align with client goals.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive and lead client lending consultations with precision and professionalism
Analyze personal financials, credit reports, and business goals to assess loan readiness and strategic fit
Own the prequalification process—evaluate risk and deliver clear funding recommendations
Communicate outcomes decisively to clients, consultants, and referral partners with speed and accuracy
Educate stakeholders on SBA and conventional lending policies, eligibility, and timelines
Maintain strong, proactive relationships with brokers, franchisors, lenders, and internal teams
Deliver difficult messages (e.g., denials, ineligibility) tactfully, with poise and professionalism
Collaborate with internal lending operations to ensure smooth documentation handoffs
Track all client engagement meticulously in the CRM and maintain clean, audit-ready records
Handle refund decisions for clients based on the prequalification assessments you conduct
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years’ experience in lending, finance, consulting, or a performance-based client service role
Deep knowledge of SBA and bank lending processes, credit analysis, and loan eligibility criteria
High school diploma required; advanced coursework in finance or business preferred
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; CRM or Salesforce experience a plus
Confident communicator and strong decision-maker with executive presence
Unwavering attention to detail and a passion for process optimization
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines with ease and control
Travel may be required for high-impact business engagements
