COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $20.40 per hour
• Monday – Friday, 11:30am – 8:00pm; rotating Saturdays once every 4 weeks with a weekday off. (Training : 9am–6pm)
• W2, Full-Time
• Start Date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
This role serves as the front line for a specialized pharmacy support team, ensuring that cancer patients and others receive compassionate, timely service. Representatives play a critical role in managing prescription delivery, patient queries, and inbound communications—delivering accuracy and empathy in every interaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls to manage prescription scheduling, delivery, and payment updates
• Direct patient inquiries to appropriate clinical or operational staff while documenting detailed case notes
• Run medical claims and update systems to support pharmacy workflow and downstream staff
• Use internal tools to verify insurance, process refill needs, and respond to requests for invoices
• Identify and escalate adverse events and product complaints to clinical teams
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
• 1+ year experience in a call center or customer service environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ticketing platforms
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Pharmacy management systems (EPIC, ScriptPro, or equivalent)
• Call center software (Five9, Avaya, or similar)
• Claims processing platforms
• Internal CRM/workflow tools
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Familiarity with medical terminology or experience in a pharmacy or medical office setting
• Experience processing medical claims
• Empathy and professionalism in patient-facing communications
