COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $20.40 per hour
• Monday – Friday, 11:30am – 8:00pm; rotating Saturdays every 4 weeks with a weekday off (Training: 9am–6pm)
• W2, Full-Time
• Start Date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
Join a specialized pharmacy support team delivering compassionate service to cancer patients and others with complex medical needs. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll ensure timely prescription fulfillment, handle patient inquiries with care, and support efficient operations through accurate communication and system updates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage a high volume of inbound/outbound calls related to prescriptions, deliveries, and payments
• Route patient concerns to appropriate staff and maintain thorough case documentation
• Process medical claims and update records to facilitate pharmacy operations
• Utilize internal platforms for insurance verification, refill processing, and invoice support
• Escalate adverse events and product complaints to clinical personnel as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree a plus
• 1+ year experience in customer service or call center setting
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/ticketing systems
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Pharmacy systems (EPIC, ScriptPro, or similar)
• Call center tools (Five9, Avaya, etc.)
• Claims processing software
• Internal CRM and workflow systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Knowledge of medical terminology or background in a pharmacy/medical office
• Experience with medical claims processing
• Ability to deliver empathetic, professional patient communication
