• $17.50/hr
• Monday–Friday, flexible between 7am–7pm
• W2 Contract-to-Hire
ROLE IMPACT
As a Contact Center Specialist supporting a major hospital system, you’ll provide frontline support for patients by handling high-volume inbound calls, scheduling appointments, and routing medical inquiries with accuracy and empathy. Your ability to manage multiple healthcare systems and prioritize urgent needs will directly impact patient satisfaction and care continuity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handle inbound patient calls to schedule, cancel, or route appointments
• Communicate COVID-19 protocols and video appointment procedures to patients
• Provide pricing estimates for various providers
• Route patient questions and documentation to appropriate clinical offices
• Maintain data accuracy within web-based scheduling systems
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years call center experience in a fast-paced environment
• Stable work history with minimal job changes
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Web-based healthcare scheduling platforms
• Paperless documentation tools
• Phone and electronic call routing systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Prior experience in a healthcare or medical scheduling environment
• Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
• Collaborative team mindset
