 Job Description

Position Title: CRS Loss Mitigation Specialist
Location: [Insert Location, if needed]
Pay: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire (120-day conversion)

Overview:

As a CRS Loss Mitigation Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing account recovery, coordinating vendor activities, and supporting repossession processes. This position requires a strong grasp of auction protocols, customer communication, and performance auditing to ensure efficient resolution of delinquent accounts and asset recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor repossession logistics and sale preparation efforts.

  • Oversee auction coordination and vendor relationships to ensure timely asset disposition.

  • Handle account recovery efforts, including payment negotiation and ACH management.

  • Structure and maintain payment plans with borrowers to avoid repossession or escalation.

  • Conduct inventory audits and analyze recovery performance metrics.

  • Act as a point of contact for customer escalations, working to improve retention and resolution outcomes.

  • Utilize software platforms such as Copart, RDN, and IBEAM to track recovery processes.

  • Process and notarize relevant documentation (must be a Texas Notary or eligible to become one).

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in loss mitigation, repossession, or auto finance highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in Copart, RDN, and IBEAM platforms.

  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for performance auditing and data analysis.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, especially in escalated customer interactions.

  • Texas Notary certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
