Customer Service Representative

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Pay: $19.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday; shifts assigned between 9:00am–10:30am start time within 8:00am–7:00pm CST coverage
• Employment Type: W2, full-time
• Start Date: ASAP

ROLE IMPACT
This role supports patient care by providing timely, accurate, and compassionate customer service to healthcare providers, patients, and internal teams. Success is defined by accurate scheduling of prescription deliveries, compliance with HIPAA regulations, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in every interaction. The position also offers opportunities for cross-training and professional development within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Answer inbound calls, providing accurate and clear information to patients, providers, and internal stakeholders
• Contact patients to confirm details and coordinate prescription shipments
• Schedule medication deliveries with precision and ensure timely processing
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Adhere to all compliance and regulatory requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of customer service center or call center experience preferred
• Strong telephone communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Multi-line phone systems
• Patient record management platforms
• Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Internal scheduling and CRM systems

EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Professional office environment during onsite training and hybrid days
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and reach outward frequently
• Must be able to push/pull and lift/carry up to 15 lbs
• Hybrid schedule subject to business and performance needs

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience in healthcare customer service or pharmacy support
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance procedures
• Ability to work independently while meeting team performance standards
