Area Manager

CornerStone Staffing has partnered with a leading healthcare solutions provider seeking an Area Manager to oversee remote teams during their annual benefit reverification initiatives and ensure excellence in customer service, productivity, and compliance.

Position: Area Manager (Contract Position)
Location: Remote – Must reside in TX, NC, SC, TN, KY, IN, GA, or AZ only
Pay: $ 32-37/ hour BOA*
Start Date: Early November

Schedule: Must be flexible on schedule and hours – some travel and occasional weekend work may be required

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee the administration of a Micro-Hub team, ensuring excellence in operations and customer service

• Lead Supervisors and/or Hub Leads coaching remote, seasonal Reimbursement Specialists

• Partner with leadership to ensure productivity goals and service-level agreements are met

• Support recruiting, hiring, and training efforts for seasonal initiatives

• Provide reporting, monitor performance, and address escalated issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to refine processes and implement best practices

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of supervisory or management experience in medical insurance or specialty healthcare reimbursement

• Experience managing diverse, remote teams (highly preferred)

• Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement processes including benefits investigations, billing, appeals, and payer navigation

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practice management experience preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Ability to travel for meetings and training as needed
