CornerStone Staffing has partnered with a leading healthcare solutions provider seeking a Team Lead / Benefit Verification Specialist to coach and support remote staff while ensuring accuracy, productivity, and exceptional customer service.
Position: Team Lead / Benefit Verification Specialist (Contract)
Location: Remote– Must reside in TX, NC, SC, TN, KY, IN, GA, or AZ only
Pay: $21/hour
Start Date: Early November
Schedule: Must be flexible on schedule and hours – may require weekends and occasional travel; some online training may be completed after hours
What You’ll Do:

Provide day-to-day guidance and instructions to team members processing benefit investigations

Coach and assist staff in resolving issues to ensure benefit verifications meet quality and performance standards

Monitor production and quality control measures to meet or exceed client service-level requirements

Support the Supervisor and Area Manager in training initiatives and program documentation development

Escalate issues to management as needed and maintain open communication with the team

Identify program challenges and propose solutions to improve efficiency

Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, reimbursement hub, physician’s office, or similar healthcare setting

Prior experience processing benefit investigations in a fast-paced environment (highly desirable)

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

Leadership or supervisory experience preferred; remote team leadership is a plus

Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to new computer systems quickly

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong problem-solving skills
