Call Center Medical Scheduler
Location: Atlanta, GA | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule
• $18.50/hr (based on experience)
• Hours: 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST
• Full-time, weekday availability
ROLE IMPACT
As a Medical Scheduler, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and provider offices—helping coordinate imaging appointments with care and precision. Your attention to detail ensures accurate data entry and smooth patient experiences in a fast-paced outpatient diagnostics environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Schedule and confirm imaging appointments using internal systems
• Explain procedures, prep instructions, and directions to patients and providers
• Contact physician offices to secure imaging orders when needed
• Answer calls, respond to questions, or route to appropriate staff
• Maintain professionalism and escalate concerns as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in a call center environment
• Background in medical/healthcare settings
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Call center software
• Healthcare scheduling platforms
• EMR/EHR and order entry tools
• General office applications
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable in high-volume, deadline-driven settings
• Bilingual a plus (not required)
