Compensation & Schedule
• $20–$22/hour (BOE; potential for increase based on skill set)
• Tuesday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (32 hours/week)

ROLE IMPACT

As the Admissions Coordinator, you will guide prospective students—primarily nurses and long-term care professionals—through the enrollment process for continuing education and vocational certification programs. Your ability to provide clear, professional communication and organized support will directly impact student success and workforce readiness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Respond to phone and in-person inquiries, providing detailed information about training programs and enrollment steps
• Manage student applications, process paperwork, and track documentation for CE and workforce training courses
• Communicate class schedules, logistics, and start dates via phone and professional email
• Coordinate with instructors and admin teams to ensure accurate scheduling and attendance tracking
• Support the Director of Training and training staff with enrollment-related operations and documentation
• Manage engagement from social media messages and email marketing responses from prospective students
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years' experience in admissions, training coordination, or administrative customer service
• Excellent verbal communication and phone etiquette skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced office environment

• CRM-style tracking or student record systems
• Office equipment (scanners, printers, multi-line phones)
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Familiarity with vocational education or healthcare job roles
• Experience in student intake, enrollment coordination, or training services
• Comfortable with basic graphic design and social media tools (e.g., Canva, email marketing platforms)
