Patient Services Specialist

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $17–$18.50/hour
• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• W2, Temp with possible perm
ROLE IMPACT
This role supports front-line operations in a high-volume healthcare setting, ensuring seamless patient experiences across multiple clinic locations. Successful candidates will deliver efficient check-in/out, scheduling, and support functions that directly impact care delivery and patient satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet and check-in/check-out patients, verify insurance, and update demographic information
• Schedule and coordinate follow-up visits and referrals across systems
• Accept and post payments, reconcile cash drawers, and generate payment reports
• Respond to patient inquiries via phone and in-person with professionalism and empathy
• Support medical records requests and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 1 year of front office or customer service experience in a medical or clinical setting
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume calls and front desk tasks
• Reliable transportation required for floating assignments
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
