Customer Service Representative – Pharmacy

• Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM

ROLE IMPACT
As a key member of the pharmacy operations team, this role is responsible for managing patient inquiries, scheduling prescription deliveries, and maintaining accurate records. Success in this position is measured by empathy-driven customer service, dependable attendance, and the ability to meet quality metrics in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handle inbound and outbound calls to coordinate prescription deliveries and payments
• Respond to patient inquiries or route calls to the appropriate personnel
• Show empathy and professionalism in all customer interactions
• Run medical claims and update progress notes for referral status tracking
• Provide insurance verification, invoice support, and prescription status updates
• Escalate adverse events or product complaints to clinical staff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)
• 1+ year of call center experience
• Ability to demonstrate empathy and professionalism with patients
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications

• Call management platforms

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Customer service or medical office background
• Pharmacy or medical terminology experience
• Potential for full-time hire based on performance
