Location: Fort Worth, TX | Onsite

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Temp to Hire

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform complex cashiering functions and process student account transactions following university procedures
• Assist students with tuition payments, financial aid adjustments, Military Tuition Assistance, and Veteran’s Benefits
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism across in-person, email, and phone communications
• Compile, post, and maintain financial records including invoices, payments, and related documentation
• Research and resolve discrepancies in student accounts, escalating when necessary
• Support policy compliance by reviewing procedures for adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
• Collaborate in developing and updating departmental procedures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum five (5) years professional experience in customer service and three (3) years in accounting
• Cash management experience including reconciling cash drawers and deposits
• Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel) and email platforms
• Demonstrated ability to critically think, organize, and independently manage diverse tasks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain positive relationships across campus

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Previous experience supporting financial operations in a higher education setting
• Ability to manage high-volume customer interactions with diplomacy and patience
• Familiarity with financial aid and veteran education benefit processes
