Reconciliation Support Agent
Location Fort Worth, TX | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule
• $20-21 per hour
• 8-hour shifts, flexible end time between 4–6 PM; training: Mon–Fri, 7 AM–4 PM
• W2 Contract, 6 months
• Start Date: 09/15 or earlier
ROLE IMPACT
As part of the Account Reconciliation Team, the Mail Support Agent ensures the accurate and timely handling of high-value check processing, account terminations, and title release tasks. This non-phone role directly supports financial operations, including litigation-sensitive documentation and emergency payment handling. A successful hire brings precision, accountability, and independence to a process-critical back-office function.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process and reconcile payoff cases, ensuring compliance with federal and internal guidelines
• Verify, log, and ship incoming checks totaling approximately $5 million monthly
• Handle check image retrieval, document imaging, and offsite storage preparation
• Manage daily FedEx shipments and emergency check pickups
• Support leadership with data gathering and presentations for team meetings
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1+ year of clerical, operations, or back-office processing experience - Preferably banking or accounts receivable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Comfortable managing sensitive financial data
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Internal payment/account reconciliation systems
• FedEx shipping software
• Document imaging tools
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience handling high-volume mail or payment operations
• Familiarity with account reconciliation or financial institutions
• Exposure to compliance-driven processing environments
