Pharmacy Call Center Representative
Location Louisville, KY
Compensation & Schedule
• Pay rate: $17.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, shifts between 8:00am–4:30pm and 11:30am–8:00pm (set schedule TBD)
• Employment type: W2, contract with possible conversion

ROLE IMPACT
This role is critical in ensuring patients and providers receive timely, accurate, and compassionate support regarding pharmacy services. Success in this position is defined by delivering effortless customer experiences, ensuring accurate information exchange, and supporting pharmacy compliance requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage inbound and outbound phone calls with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers
• Deliver accurate, professional, and empathetic customer service across all interactions
• Process prescription refills and coordinate shipment scheduling for patients and providers
• Document call details and provide clear follow-up and next steps for resolution
• Adhere to all client policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Flexibility to adapt to assigned schedules and evolving business needs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Active Pharmacy Technician Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy (must be obtained before or on the first day of employment)
• Previous call center or high-volume customer service experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to type 35+ WPM
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Healthcare or pharmacy experience preferred

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Telephony and call center systems
• Pharmacy management systems (training provided)

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Prior experience supporting patients in a healthcare or pharmacy environment
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Strong commitment to accuracy and compliance
