IT Financial Analyst III
Location Plano, TX | Hybrid
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $40.00 – $44.00/hour
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT
• W2 Contract – 12 months, possible extension
ROLE IMPACT
This role provides critical financial oversight and coordination for a high-visibility IT portfolio. The Financial Analyst ensures accurate planning, analysis, and reporting to align fiscal decisions with strategic goals—driving efficiency and enabling informed leadership decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Track, monitor, and reconcile portfolio budgets against planned and actual expenditures
• Coordinate financial planning cycles and prepare detailed forecasts
• Develop and post journal entries, including accruals and cost reclassifications
• Partner with IT and finance leaders to evaluate variances and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Translate financial findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (required)
• 5+ years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and formulas
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage executives and cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
