Inventory Assistant – Warehouse
Pay Rate: $17.31/hour
Location: Onsite - Jeffersonville, Indiana
Schedule: Full-Time with Rotational Saturdays & Mandatory Overtime
Work Schedule
Monday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Wednesday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Rotational Saturdays required
Mandatory overtime as needed
Position Overview
We are seeking reliable Inventory Assistants to support warehouse and pharmacy inventory operations. In this role, you will help ensure accurate inventory management, safe product handling, and efficient warehouse operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining product accuracy and supporting overall operational success.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and verify incoming product against purchase orders
Unload trucks and break down pallets of inventory
Sort totes and place products in the correct bin locations
Verify NDC numbers and product quantities against purchase orders
Use handheld scanners to receive and reconcile inventory
Perform daily cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory
Maintain records of received products and report discrepancies such as shortages, overages, or damaged items
Rotate inventory using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method
Monitor productivity and track put-away lines per hour
Perform weekly/monthly sweeps for expired or short-dated product
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Assist with shipping, packing, product replenishment, and reverse logistics when needed
Follow company policies including DSCSA, HIPAA, and PHI compliance
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong math skills for counting and calculating pack sizes
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Warehouse or inventory experience
RF Scanner experience
Pharmacy technician certification (preferred but not required)
Physical Requirements
Lift and carry items up to 20–25 lbs regularly
Stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift
Bend, twist, reach, and grasp frequently
Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies
Use step ladders to access product
Safely operate box cutters for opening product cases
