TITLE CURATIVE ASSOCIATE

Location Remote-US | 100% Remote (MUST Reside in FL, TX, or AZ)
Compensation & Schedule
• $22.11/hour
• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm CST

ROLE IMPACT: The Title Curative Associate ensures clear, insurable title by resolving liens, encumbrances, and other title defects within established service level agreements (SLAs). This role directly supports timely real estate closings and title insurance issuance by conducting detailed title research, coordinating with third parties, and applying underwriting guidelines across multiple jurisdictions. Success is defined by accurate curative resolution, compliance with state regulations, and consistent communication throughout the title lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
• Review abstract title examinations, including liens, encumbrances, judgments, vesting, deed preparation, and legal descriptions
• Research and resolve voluntary and involuntary liens, real property tax issues, payoffs, and other title conditions using underwriting guidelines across all 50 states
• Manage a pipeline of title orders and clear title within established SLAs
• Communicate status updates and documentation through integrated systems and email
• Collaborate with lenders, creditors, title agencies, counties, and third parties to extinguish title matters and support issuance of title insurance

Minimum Qualifications
• 2+ years of title insurance curative experience (real property transactions)
• Demonstrated knowledge of lien resolution, title research, and underwriting guidelines
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously

Core Tools & Systems
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Title production and curative operating systems (company and/or client platforms)
• Integrated task management and communication systems

Preferred Skills
• Experience with TDI/Texas, Florida, and Georgia title requirements
• Strong customer service skills with a professional, solutions-focused approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with advanced problem-solving ability
