Compensation & Schedule
• $19.00 per hour
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM; Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• 4-day, 10-hour shifts with possible overtime
• Temp-to-Perm opportunity (90-day probationary period)
ROLE IMPACT:The Pharmacy Technician supports Central Fill pharmacy operations to ensure accurate, efficient medication preparation and distribution. This role directly impacts patient safety and service quality by maintaining precise inventory control, operating automated dispensing systems, and assisting pharmacists in daily fulfillment activities. Success is measured by accuracy, productivity, compliance with state regulations, and operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform manual prescription data entry, medication picking, packing, labeling, and replenishment
• Operate automated sorting, counting, and dispensing equipment
• Fill bottles and cells with prescribed tablets and capsules under pharmacist supervision
• Receive, store, and manage incoming pharmaceutical supplies and inventory
• Maintain accurate stock counts and enter inventory data into pharmacy systems
• Clean equipment, complete required documentation, and maintain organized work areas
Licenses & Certifications
• Active Tennessee State Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
Clinical Skill Set
• Pharmacy operations and Central Fill workflow
• Automated dispensing systems and counting technology
• Medication preparation and prescription labeling
• Inventory management and stock control
• Pharmacy data entry and computer systems usage
Preferred Skills
• 1+ year of pharmacy operations experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
