Role Impact
The Member Services Representative serves as the first point of contact for members, delivering responsive, solutions-driven support that strengthens trust and satisfaction. This role ensures accurate communication, timely issue resolution, and a seamless member experience. Success is defined by empathy in service, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate insurance-related inquiries with confidence and professionalism.

• Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries, delivering accurate and timely information regarding insurance products and services
• Resolve member concerns using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure positive outcomes
• Document member interactions thoroughly in customer service systems while maintaining compliance and data accuracy
• Collaborate with internal departments to escalate and resolve complex issues efficiently
• Maintain working knowledge of policies, procedures, and healthcare benefit offerings
• Identify member needs and recommend appropriate solutions or services
• Perform additional support duties as assigned

• Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of professional customer service experience, preferably within insurance or healthcare benefits
• Proven ability to manage high-volume inquiries using customer service platforms or CRM systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally

• Core Tools & Systems
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Insurance policy administration platforms
• Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
• Call handling and ticketing systems

Preferred Skills
• Experience supporting health insurance or benefits-related products
• Strong empathy and service-first mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
