SAP S/4HANA Implementation Lead (Accounting Focus)
Location: Tampa, FL | Hybrid (1–3 days onsite per week)
Compensation & Schedule
• $50/hour
• Monday - Friday: 7am - 6pm (8 hour shift)
• W2 contract
Role Impact: This role drives the successful rollout of SAP S/4HANA within a global finance organization undergoing a major ERP transformation. You will bridge Accounting and SAP system functionality to ensure accurate financial processes, clean data migration, and strong internal controls. Success is defined by seamless UAT execution, effective cutover and go-live support, and sustainable adoption across finance teams.
Job Responsibilities
• Serve as the key Finance representative supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation initiatives
• Execute and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test script development, validation, and defect tracking
• Partner with IT and project teams to resolve system and process issues
• Support cutover planning and execution, including data validation and go-live readiness activities
• Provide post-go-live (hypercare) support to troubleshoot system and workflow issues
• Create and maintain process documentation including SOPs, workflows, and control narratives
• Develop and deliver training materials and conduct end-user training for Finance teams
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, IT, and external consultants
• Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance controls and utilization
Minimum Qualifications
• 5–8+ years of experience in accounting and/or finance systems, including ERP implementation involvement
• Strong SAP experience required, preferably SAP S/4HANA, with hands-on UAT, cutover, and go-live support
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred Skills
• SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO – Financial Accounting and Controlling) experience
• Experience supporting large-scale ERP or finance transformation initiatives
• Familiarity with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) internal controls frameworks and tools such as BlackLine or Workiva
