Cancellation Phone Desk Specialist


Location: Irving, Texas 75063 | Hybrid 

In-office every MondayRemote remainder of the week, but in office as needed


Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay: $18.00+ per hour (Based on Experience)

  • Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Employment Type: Temp to hire

  • Training: 4–6 weeks

 

Role Impact: The Cancellation Phone Desk Associate serves as the primary point of contact for customers, dealerships, and lenders regarding product cancellation requests. This role ensures accurate processing, timely communication, and an exceptional customer experience throughout the cancellation lifecycle. Success is measured by efficiency, professionalism, and the ability to resolve inquiries while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and respond to email inquiries regarding product cancellation requests

  • Create service tickets and initiate cancellation processes using BPMS workflow systems

  • Communicate procedures, timelines, and status updates to customers and stakeholders

  • Maintain professionalism in all verbal and written communications while delivering outstanding customer service

  • Escalate critical or complex issues appropriately and support the Cancellation Team as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ year of call center or customer service experience in a high-volume environment

  • Demonstrated ability to de-escalate challenging situations with professionalism and empathy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.(you will be tested on skills)
