Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: Temporary (Coverage for employee on FMLA; potential for longer-term opportunity)

Position Summary
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused ROI Specialist to support the front desk operations of a busy medical facility. This role will primarily assist walk-in patients, process incoming requests (including parent and faxed requests), and ensure a high level of service and accuracy.
While this position is focused on front desk support, prior Release of Information (ROI) experience is highly preferred to support training and allow for flexibility should business needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in patients and visitors with medical record requests
- Process incoming requests, including parent requests and faxed documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Review and validate authorization forms for completeness and compliance
- Respond to patient inquiries and assist with accessing records (MyChart or in person)
- Manage incoming calls related to medical records requests
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external entities
- Accurately document and track requests within EMR systems
- Provide general front desk and administrative support as needed
?Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare or medical records environment
- ROI (Release of Information) experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Experience with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, etc.)
- Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor
