Customer Service Representative – Pharmacy Support

Compensation & Schedule
• $17.00 per hour
• Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (6–8 weeks onsite)
• Post-training schedule: 11:00 AM–7:30 PM or 11:30 AM–8:00 PM
• Employment Type: W2, Contract (Possible conversion to full-time)
Role Impact: The Customer Service Representative supports patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers by delivering accurate, timely pharmacy support through inbound and outbound calls. Success in this role means resolving inquiries efficiently, ensuring prescription refill processing and shipment scheduling accuracy, and maintaining strong attendance and productivity standards. This position directly impacts patient access to medications and overall service experience.
• Handle inbound and outbound phone calls from patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers
• Process prescription refills and coordinate shipment scheduling
• Provide accurate information, clear next steps, and appropriate follow-up
• Resolve customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy
• Follow established policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Maintain productivity, quality, and attendance expectations
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of call center experience
• Ability to obtain Pharmacy Board Technician Registration before or on first day of employment
• Strong communication skills with typing speed of at least 35 WPM
Equipment & Work Environment
• Hybrid role: Onsite training at 5101 Jefferson Commerce Blvd., Louisville, KY 40219
• Reliable transportation required for onsite training and as needed thereafter
• Must reside within 100 miles of Louisville, KY
• Standard office and remote work environment; extended phone and computer use
• May be required to return onsite if performance or attendance expectations are not met
Preferred Skills
• Previous healthcare or pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Pre-Employment Requirements
• Pharmacy Board Technician Registration required prior to or on first day of employment
• Background check and standard pre-employment screening may be required
