Mechanical Assembly Technician
Location: Carrollton, TX | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule
• $18.00 per hour
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime flexibility: 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM and Saturdays as required)
Role Impact: This role supports the production of advanced cash automation equipment, including smart safes and cash recyclers (automated cash handling systems that validate, store, and dispense currency). Success in this position ensures high-quality assembly, accurate system functionality, and reliable performance for end users. Technicians play a key part in maintaining production flow and product integrity within a climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Key Duties
• Assemble mechanical and electrical components for cash automation machines, including smart safes and ATMs
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete mechanical and electrical assembly
• Perform quality control checks to verify proper fit, wiring accuracy, and system functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly or wiring issues to meet production standards
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Equipment & Work Environment
• Climate-controlled warehouse setting
• Frequent use of hand tools and power tools
• Work with small mechanical parts, wiring, and electronic components
• Standing for extended periods during assembly tasks
• Overtime and Saturday work as required
