Pay: $26 - $27/hr + Overtime
Schedule:
- Training: 1st Shift, Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (short-term)
- Regular Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM Some overtime available, as needed Friday and Saturday
Position Overview:
Join a high-performing machining team operating advanced 5-axis CNC equipment. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist who can handle setups, maintain tight tolerances, and run parts with minimal supervision.
After completing training on 1st shift, you’ll transition to a stable 2nd shift schedule with consistent hours and overtime opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC 5-axis machines
- Perform tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and precision tools
- Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
- Troubleshoot and adjust machine performance as needed
- Work independently on 2nd shift
Qualifications:
- 3+ years CNC machining experience (5-axis preferred)
- Strong setup and tooling experience
- Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge required
- Experience with precision measuring instruments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Able to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift
